Light-sensitive resistor for detecting changes in ambient light intensity in Arduino, IoT, robotics and electronic projects.
he LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) is a passive light-sensitive component whose resistance changes according to the intensity of light falling on its surface. Its resistance decreases when exposed to more light and increases in darkness.
This standalone LDR sensor can be used with a resistor to create a voltage divider and connect directly to an analogue input of a microcontroller such as Arduino, ESP32 or ESP8266. It is suitable for automatic lighting, light detection, brightness sensing, robotics and educational electronics projects.
